You have seen books and movies about it…being a lady in waiting. We are told to honestly just exist and a knight in shining armor or Boaz is going to come and sweep you off your feet and marry you. Then life begins. But that is not scripture and that is not reality. When God created us male and female, He created us for a purpose individually and together. Life does not start when you get married it started when God formed you in your mother’s womb. Our identity is in Jesus Christ. This is not a cope out for singles, but this is to empower single, married, divorced, and widowed to ask God what the season in your life you are currently living is purposed for. You do not have to explain or answer to anybody but God. Being a Lady In Purpose is way more fulfilling than being a Lady In Waiting. Your husband…if that is the will of God is to compliment you. He does not replace God in your life. So, ladies get to living your life. Take yourself out to eat, pamper yourself, go to the movies (once this pandemic is over unless your theater is open then do you 😊). Also study the Word of God and see how God used women from all walks of life and how beautiful it is.
